Holiday Field Trip to UCI Institute and Museum of California Art

Please join us for a field trip to The UCI Institute and Museum of California Art (IMCA) to enjoy a docent led tour of paintings from the collection of 19th century California art recently donated to UCI by The Irvine Museum. The current exhibit, El Camino del Oro, features paintings focusing on the history of California during the Mission and Rancho periods and early days of statehood. These painting represent several styles including realism, tonalism and impressionism with many painted en plain air.
The tour will be led by long time ARCS OC member Catherine Kusnick who has been a docent at the museum for 8 years.
Lunch is $45 (two course prix-fixe includes beverage and ARCS logo cap!

Parking Instructions
Garage next to the museum, which is on the 1st floor of Airport Tower, a 12 story white octagonal building with a flag flying from the top of the building. Bring your parking ticket into the museum for validation. The restaurant is directly across Van Karman from the museum building.
Alternatively, parking and validation is also available at Bistango.
