Judy Greenspon Wins "Remarkable Business Woman of the Year" Award

Posted on Monday, November 5, 2018

On the 30th anniversary of the Women's Business Ownership Act, NAWBO OC  (The National Association of Women Business Owners, Orange  County chapter) distinguished our VP of Fund Development and Membership, Judy Greenspon, with the Remarkable Business Women of the year Award.

NAWBO OC is a community of women entrepreneurs dedicated to expanding the entrepreneurial and economic empowerment of women business owners through advocacy, business development training, networking, and togetherness. The Remarkable Women Awards was founded in 1997 by the NAWBO Orange County to honor the achievements and success of local women business owners in five distinct categories: Business Woman of the Year, Business Advocate, Entrepreneur to Watch, Lifetime Achievement and Young Woman Entrepreneur.

During the awards ceremony, celebrated on October 30th at The Yost, Santa Ana, Judy Greenspon, founder and president of  NPI Services Inc., received the distinction after being selected over other three highly successful business women nominees; Kathy Dawson of Dawson & Dawson INc.,  Karen Otis of Othis Architecture and Brenda Springer of Reveille Inc.

Judy Greenspon founded NPI Services, Inc.  20 years ago when most electronic manufacturing was moving off-shore.  Judy asked herself:  "What is not going to move?" The answer was complex research and development for New Product Introductions in the medical, industrial and aerospace markets. When Quick Turn Matters! That’s what differentiates NPI from the competition and the key to its success and growth over the years.

Judy earned her BA in Economics from Saint Mary’s College of Notre Dame. Then spent five years as a developmental economist in the Philippines. She credits her creative problem solving, maximum use of limited resources and diverse cultural collaboration skills to her Peace Corps experience. Judy attributes NPI’s success to her dedicated team technical professionals. Today she supports many STEM scholars and is a proud member of the UCI Engineering Council, a board member of the ARCS Foundation and member of the Sargent Shriver Circle.
